Customer Reviews

A must read book.2
This is a book that will be required reading for all trainee reflexologists - read the book, memorise it and you will pass the ITEC exam. That's not to say that it is in any way the best book on the subject. As in the anatomy and physiology text book by the same author there are glaring inaccuracies but if you plan to pass the exam you still need to learn the subject this way.
Think of this book as an introduction to a life times learning of this wonderful therapy and then get your tutor to suggest books that you really should be reading! Best of luck.

how itec support this book is beyond me2
This book is OK to pass the ITEC exam but is a damming inditement of the academic quality of ITEC as an institution. The lack of any academic viability in this book is shocking. Sweeping statements are made with no supporting evidence. Example page 12 "...75% of disease is estimated to be stress related.". No verification at all. There are no references in the book apart from a small bibliograpy. Yes I understand this is an introductory textbook for a practical subject, but I do think that for reflexology to be taken seriously, it does need a firmer academic foundation and this book does not offer that.
