After discovering deep family secrets in her adoptive father's diary, Willow leaves her North Carolina college and sets out in search of her birth family amid the ritzy glamour of Palm Beach. Using an assumed name and pretending to conduct a study of one of the nation's wealthiest communities, Willow takes Florida's premier city by storm. But as she spirals into a passionate love affair with young lawyer Thatcher Eaton and becomes intoxicated with the lifestyles of the rich and famous, the dark truth about her birth family threatens her fabulous new life, pushing Willow to the brink of insanity.

One of the best ANDREWS book
After loosing both her beloved father and adoptive mother Willow de Beer goes to Palm Beach in the hope to find her real mother. But she doesn't enter the Palm Beach society with her real name so this is a problem because she has to lie all the time. She has a wonderful love affair with Thatcher Eaton,a young laywer.
I love this book and I couldn't put it away until I finished it! And I am looking forward to start with the second part of this novel!
Willow....Virginia Andrews
Virgina Andrews is once again back on form with her 1st book off a new series.A book once which i started reading could'nt put down !Finished it in about 3 days. The book is typical Virginia Andrews......Small town girl uncovers some secrets from her past, goes to big city to find some answers only to cause alot of heartache and then falls in love.Although it is typical, if your a Virginia Andrews fan you will welcome this book with open arms, it has plenty of good characters and gives you a glimpse into the lives of the rich and previleged.Well worth a read.
Took me a while to get into it
This book is traditional of Viriginia Andrews. The style, the storyline (always a rich family somewhere). It seemed to drag on a bit after Willow went to search for her mother. The whole Palm beach scence (where her mother lives) was quite a yawn.
