Need to strengthen the plastic
I purchased this toolset as a precaution thinking there might be some special gizmo I couldn't find anywhere else which I would need to open the iPhone. I didn't mind taking a risk that I would be disappointed because the tools were very cheap. However, it turned out that the only novel tool is the one for opening the iPhone case and, regrettably, this is just not robust enough to do the job. The iPhone glass is very tighly secured inside the metal surround, with the aid of a rubber gasket, and the very thin plastic edge of the tool just was not up to the amount of force that one has to apply to lever out the glass. Each of the iPhone parts I ordered arrived with a toolset so fortunately I had several versions of the same tool, most of which I damaged to some extent because of their sheer flimsyness before I got the phone open. The screwdrivers in the toolset I already had and I suspect most people attempting to repair the iPhone would be the types of folk who would already have sets of jewellers screwdrivers. As for the other stuff, such as the guitar pick, I have no idea why they included this. None of the repair videos showed anyone using them.

Bought as one day I will need it . . . .
Purchased because one day I just know I will need it at a moments notice. If I dont already own this it will take me over a week to get. As a result I have NOT used it but examining the quality of the what has been supplied it seems excellent value.
