Good Instructional DVD
I have had a few of them, and to be honest got fed up with the standard American drawl that you usually get on drum DVDs. This one is presented in a very easy and relaxed manner (by an English guy!) with a lot of very pertinent and well-conveyed information. He is obviously a very good drummer and teacher, this comes across on the DVD. I have managed to play several of the things on it, I am really pleased with some of the very slick sounding beats that I have been able to play following the tips etc. Well worth it in my opinion. I think I have certainly become a better player because of it!

I'll apologize now, steer clear of this DVD, because it falls way short of it's title.

It should be called the incomplete drummer. It's very much like a whistle stop tour of a one hour lesson on a DVD which is far too long with very little new information.

To be honest there is nothing here that you cannot get far easier from any good drum tutorial book. Try Dom Famularo's book: 'It's Your Move' or 'The Drummers Bible' by Mick Berry.

An excellent DVD which will give you much more than the above DVD is 'Moeller Method Secrets' by Mike Michalkow it is available from the USA and well worth the effort.

It's Volume 2
Just a quick note, this is volume 2 of "The Complete Drummer" - I can't see any mention of that in the description, but it you enlarge the picture you can just see "2" in the top corner.
