Is Hebrew for you?
I love to make use of my Greek Interlinear when studying God's Word and so when I found a Hebrew (and Greek) Interlinear at a reasonable price I had to have one. I am pleased I purchased it because it is nice to be able to look at it for a deeper insight into some passages in the Hebrew Scriptures, but it is not simple! I can get the flow of the Greek grammar with a little bit of reading but when it comes to the Hebrew I haven't yet really got my mind round it, I'm hoping that a little more reading will start to bring it alive for me. If it doesn't I my have to invest a little time in understanding how Hebrew works. With the bible designed to be a guide for life and the future though, I will have to consider whether that would be time well spent.
The typeface in this version may be a little small for some but is fine for me as my eyesight is pretty good, if you have difficulties you may need to invest in a magnifying glass too.

Big, Clear, Honest, Coprehensive (WORTH EVERY PENNY)
Its a massive book, well laid out with nice hard back. Just to look at it makes me a proud owner. Aside from this, the content is honest and accurate.

The technical nature of this book means that there is no distorion of words which can be very enlightening. Even though reading the direct literal translation (the book contains 3 parts, Original language, Literal word by word translation and the interpetation of the literal translation) is not as smooth as an interpretation, it captures the essence of what the original author was saying.

In the preface it honestly explains it's limitations (translating is not simple!)

Buy / borrow a copy if you want the truth.

A worthy addition to your theocratic library
The Hebrew interlinear is probably of more interest than the Greek because of its commodity value, and as such is excellent for earnest Bible students. It's the Masoretic text and includes Strong's numbering. There is an excellent parallel English translation along with the interlinear in the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures. As the previous reviewer stated, the divine name is appropriately rendered in the English which defies the superstition of combining the tetragrammaton (YHWH) with the vowel points for adonai that ultimately gave us that travesty, LORD, in so many translations.
The Greek Scriptures are from the Textus Receptus and of interest in comparing with the Westcott & Hort.
Most of my time is spent in the excellent Hebrew Interlinear. The only slight complaint is that the clarity of the Hebrew text itself is not always what it could be - you will need a bright light and possibly a magnifying glass.
I use this work daily and have already dug up some gems (check the comment about translating 'Delight' in the preface).
