Good shredder, looks neat too
Well, it chops paper brilliantly, munches the odd credit card well, what more can you say?

It looks good too.

It does handle multiple sheets with ease, although I tend to to press it hard in that area.

The only thing I would say about it is that since the shredder mechanism is on one side, the shredded paper piles up on that side, and so if you don't jiggle the bin around a bit every so often you will end up with it overflowing inside on the one side. But that's a teeny minor point really.

Terrific value for money - and reliable!

We'd purchased several cheaper Shredders before reaching this choice and having great success.

This has a good quality motor - strong and powerful and does not appear to 'strain' as other models we had before it. There are cheaper ones out there, but due to the short life span of them, really isn't worth wasting your money... Buy one of these - this is by far the best we've seen and looks really cool too! Has a sort of 'curvy' 60s look about it.

Great value!

TIP: Don't 'abuse' your Shredder by trying to destroy things it's not meant to handle - only shortens the life and ruins the blades. Remember: it's meant to shred paper!

Solid Workhorse
I have been the proud owner of Rexel ProStyle Confetti Cut Shredder for a month. Clearly, a step up from the bottom of the range home shredders and more robust.

Takes up a bit of space and needes to be sited on a knee high table for convenience of usage. Adequate space also needed to LHS of shreddder, wherever sited, in order that emptying box can be fully removed and replaced. The extra space amounts to just over the width of the shredder.

The shredded paper does not build up evenly inside the emptying box and so it needs to be shaken to maximise amount collected before emptying.

Comfortably takes up to 9 sheets of paper but constant usage for more than 2 1/2 minutes or so certainly means that shreddeder automatically cuts out to cool down. You just have to be patient !
