This does exactly what the advert says it does!!
I want to use quality earplugs with my phone but needed to reduce the size of the jack plug. This does just that and doesn't compromise the sound quality.......and it's excellent value too.

Does what it say on the tin
Nicely made and perfectly functional. I use it with a Nokia 6500 Slide phone. The six-sided casing is just small enough to allow slide operation, but only if you make sure it is carefully aligned. Then it doesn't get it the way.

rubbish product
This adaptor didn't work from the outset, it had to be twiddled and twisted in the vague hope that I would get a few seconds of audio through one ear.
Since it only costs 1p (a reflection of its true value in my opinion) and the main cost is the postage, it makes it 'not worth the effort' to try to return it. Very clever. Steer well clear. I have now bought a Sony adaptor with gold plated contacts on eBay ireland which works a treat and cost only a little bit more.
