The one and only DVD for the guitarist beginner. Keith Wyatt is fantastic, he explains everything so calmly and goes through each step slowly so you can hear it and follow it easily, theres plenty of close ups of the fretboard so you can see exactly where your hand should be. His teaching method is really relaxed and you don't feel asthough he's just sat there just showing off, it's like he wants to help you. You learn about scales, chords, chord shapes, rhythms, and all the tricks (pull offs/hammer ons, vibrato, stickato etc) and then he teaches you a blues, country (the best one in my opinion) and rock solo along with a seperate ryhthm for each one, you also have practice tracks with little beats you can play along with (like a sing along-but a guitar along!) I have an actual guitar teacher like Keith and after a week with the DVD he was amazed at how sudden my playing had advanced! I'm now 18 and I've been playing a year this February and can play everything on the DVD easily so now I'm looking for a more advanced one and will probably get his famous blues one.

Excellent, especially for beginners5
I had never played the guitar before buying this and think it is very clear, helpful and not too repetitive or boring. It is much more useful that i thought it would be and i think the practice tracks are great. I don't think you could learn as much from just a book.

This is ideal for me because it helps me make transition from acoustic to electric. This is what I wanted. It does help to have some knowledge of guitar beforehand but this will be benefical to everyone who wants to play electric.
