A must if you are thinking about breeding your dog
This is an excellent, well written book that gives a full
and comprehensive guide to all aspects of dog breeding.
There is alot of excellent information about the reproductive
system of males and females, when is the best time to breed and a practical guide to the mating process. The book also has good information on whelping and problems that you might encounter.
An easy to understand guide to general breeding
I found this book really easy to read and understand as a owner of dogs yet a novice breeder. It is indepth and covers the whole process from selecting a good quality of dog to breed to caring for puppies and potential problems. The only way it could be better is colour photographs (as they are all black and white) but otherwise all you could need in a guide to breeding!
