Fiddly to use but totally worth it
Firstly, I should make it clear that I haven't used a wide variety of waxing products in the past; not since one of those horrible all-in-one jobs that squidged red goo all over my old cavalier. So I can only judge this on its own merits, and so far I've been really impressed.

These days, I've moved on to a new Candy White VW Scirocco, and I gave it a gentle first clean using Autoglym bodywork shampoo condtioner, and then dried it off with an Autoglym aqua-dry synthetic chamois.

Using the wax on a fairly bright autumn day, although not in direct sunshine was a bit of a challenge, mainly because I couldn't really tell which bits I'd already applied the wax to. This may be due to having a bright white car, but the wax wasn't visible at all unless I crouched right down next to the panels and looked 'along' the car.

The other difficult aspect is the supplied sponge - I guarantee that your fingers will be all cramped up after just doing the bonnet. On the plus side, the wax does go on nicely and it's obviously very gentle on the paintwork - but expect a little pain.

In contrast, the supplied finishing cloth is excellent and quick to use. Again, white paintwork probably doesn't demonstrate the full depth of the shine, but the car looked absolutely *stunning*.

Cleaning the car about two weeks later was the real test though, and it was amazingly easy to wash again. The dirt came off in huge easy swathes, and after the same cleaning and drying routine, looked as good as new again.

The best thing is, however, that one application has barely made a dent in the pot, so I think this will last for a good couple of years, if I can be bothered to re-wax every 3 months or so.

I have previously only used polishes on my car, but never a wax like this. I have to say, I am really impressed with the results. I am a bit of a car perfectionist, so am really pleased with this. It is a bit tough to rub off once dried on the car, but it is worth the elbow grease.

My car now beads water beautifully, and my car looks clean still after a week and a half, as the dirt does not stick to the paint as easily, and the rain keeps taking the dirt away. It also looked really shiny immediately after applying the wax.

Also, the tub looks small, but you do not need to use a lot. I think one tub will last me a very long time, as my first use on the car has used very little.

If you want your car to look its best and protect the paint, you should buy this.
