Informative, but too brief to justify its price
Mick Watters separates his book into a number of sections covering cleaning and repair procedures for a selection of typical types of watch. Unfortunately the text fails to adequately describe and illustrate the various parts of the watch leading to confusion for the reader in what part is being referred to. More illustrations and more comprehensive detail is required to make this a book that the newcomer to the field of watch repair should choose. The section on Quartz watches is fairly unique and you would struggle to find similar information elsewhere. In summary not the first choice book for the newcomer and not great value for money.
