Manufacturer's Description
Not as fast or powerful as the Decepticon fliers, Powerglide relies instead on his raw skill as a combat pilot. Where his enemies rely on afterburners and advanced weapon systems, he executes loops, flat spins, and other aerial manoeuvres that make even the craziest and most foolhardy Decepticons backfire out of fear. In a sky full of bad guys, you can always easily spot Powerglide twisting and diving through enemy fire, dodging missiles, and generally outclassing even the best among the Decepticon air warriors. Hear cool conversion sounds as you twist and turn this awesome Autobot warrior from battle-ready robot figure to fighter jet vehicle mode. The roar of the vehicle’s engine lets you know that this fierce “flyer” is ready to roll out into battle. In robot mode, the launching thermal beam projectile helps to keep enemies at bay.

Box Contains

  • 1 x Robot-to-vehicle figure
  • 2 x AAA batteries

    1980's Nostalgia5
A harking back to the Generation 1 character Powerglide.

Since his last two incarnation he's beefed up a bit and they've even thrown in some lights and sounds.

Its a fun toy overall, good plane model, good robot mode, fun transformation. Can't fault it appart from the terrible colour choice. Powerglide should be fully red... not cream.

    How Fiddly is it!!3
This was bought as a birthday present for my 5 year old boy. It was too fiddly for him to do on his own. His dad got pretty frustrated with it and mum ended up learning how to do the 'transformation' so she could teach everyone else!! The transforming noises are irritating as you struggle with the change over. When you turn the wings into the arms there is a really hard turn to do that is not explained well and the turning part soon wears and then slips. The locking holes are not too good either to keep the wings up as the arms so you can't have a really good game without the arms falling down. Overall it's better than the bumblebee transformer we also have - that's a nightmare to transform.
