Mudflap
Well, Mudflap is certainly interesting, the picture really doesn't do the character any favours as he's completely different in robot mode to the one shown (yes he does have legs). Unfortunately the instructions for many transformers are extremely poor and misleading. My suggestion is, once you have followed the instructions, start again and LOOK at the toy, quite often small details are easily missed, like clipping points and extra bits which fold further than the instructions indicate. Mudflap is a perfect example of this. If you take the time to work out how its SUPPOSED to transform then you'll find its quite authentic. when you transform him properly, you'll discover he's a very cool robot and theres also something nice about the vehicle mode being based on a "normal" car!
quite good - if not a little infuriating
while this looks good in both vehicle and robot modes, getting them easily from one mode to the other is quite tricky with this particular transformer, Skids suffers from the same 'fiddliness', but a little more stable in robot mode than this mudflap.
one thing thats very irritating in robot mode, is that his boot lid back section does not stay fixed very well, resulting in his top half slumping down during play.
