Expenssive, but so worth it
I know when you look at the price it's a HUGE turn off, but if your serious in learning a new language then Rosetta Stone is the way foward.

A few years ago I saw an advert on the TV, but instead of buying it, I bought other Audio CD's and books, which didn't do the job for me... (I wasted around £100 on products that didn't work)


Rosetta Stone has a very unique way of learning, It doesn't give you anything in English, however It teaches you as if it were your first language, the way you learn your first language when you were little.

If your serious about learning get the lv1, 2 & 3 it works out a lot cheaper than buying them seperately

I cannot praise Rosetta Stone enough. I have also a complete course in Italian which backed up my rather patchy knowledge of that language. I wondered how it would be learning a language from scratch with no knowledge of the letters or the sounds at all. It really works well although the Chinese characters are a little too small to read sometimes when they are placed as alternatives above the Japanese letters. It is good fun and just perfect for learning effortlessly.
