Editorial Reviews
From the Author
This is a popular book which has been available since 1987 and in continuous print since then. It is still recommended by agony aunts and the feedback from individuals is good. Amazon publishes one terrible review from a reader which seems to have no basis in the text. What was he reading?

Customer Reviews
This book can really help.
I found this book really helpful. It was as if Dr Hambly was speaking directly to me, and that someone understood exactly how I feel. I used the relaxation instructions and found I could relax for the first time in ages. This book made me realise I can do something about my confidence, and made me feel I wasn't alone. It gave me the energy to start making changes in my life.
this bokk will not help you gaining confidence
I bought that book for my wife. I thought It might help her to solve her confidence problems. Just to be aware of what I bought for her, I started to read that book myself. On page 6 or so I had to find a sentence like... you can not change yourself, don^t even try it.... Very helpfull for a person which has problems with self-esteem and self confidence. My advice, stay wit Carnegie or similar. This book will not make you more confident in any point then one, I am even more stupid I thought spending money on a book like this one.
