My daughter loves it!4
I have the British English version and my daughter really loved the book! When it's time for her to sit on the potty she asks for her 'wee wee book', puts her teddy on the spare potty then happily sits on hers. The book allows for lots of discussion, about what the girl is doing, teddy's 'accident' and how it doesn't matter, and introduces the idea of a toilet routine- going, wiping, flushing, washing hands in a very toddler- friendly way. The star chart is great too, although I wish the stickers weren't on the back of it as it makes pinning it up difficult!

I think the book is a great introduction to general potty awareness, gives lots of opportunity to discuss what the girl is doing and link it back to your own daughter and the rhyme and rhythm to the story makes it memorable (and therefore helps emphasise the potty message). A great buy for the price!

lovely book5
lovely book for toddlers in a useful hardboard version. my dd loves it. i was sent a US version which uses the word diapers instead of nappies. DK does publish a UK version I have seen it in book shops. but my dd doesn't read yet so i just say nappies instead of diapers. the stickers are also great.

wish I knew it was so american 1
this is a very sweet book and could be very helpful for potty training but it refers to diapers. mommy and 'making' in the potty. My child is two and doesn't read yet so I will edit the content as i read it to her. This will make life more difficult than it needs to be at this tricky time as you have to remember what you have previously said. The sticker set is great but let down generally by the rest of the book.
