Superb winter training top5
I have used this for training all winter and have been very impressed. The top has kept me warm when it's been raining and snowing, but allows your body to breathe when you start to really work up a sweat so you don't overheat. This is pretty much the perfect cold weather training top in my book.

However, it really is a cold weather top so don't even try and wear it on a warmish day - you'll boil alive!

Save this for those dark December days with a biting wind cutting into you - despite quite a high price, this is worth every penny.

Good - for the right users3
I am probably not the target market for technical fabrics. If you are thin, use this for an intensive workout, then plan to wash it, I think it will do the job for you. I bought it to see if would do a better job than a thermal vest inside my cold home, and in that I was disappointed. The 'warmth' it generates feels only skin-deep, and I guess this is because the material reflects heat whereas a standard thermal garment provides an insulating layer of air. Whenever the material lost contact with the body, I felt a cool spot. Then there's the smell. Again, I guess this sort of garment is intended to be worn for a couple of hours and then washed, in which case no problem. But, on me at least, man-made fibres start to smell and after two days I threw it away! I also bought the Helly Hansen Ice Crew and I am going to see if its merino wool content makes it better for my purposes. For (thin) active people who want a light, relatively warm technical fabric to wear and wash, this is fine. If you have a bit of a gut, this is a skin-tight garment, so be warned! By the way, the pack said 'cold wash' and the label said 30C.
