Southern Hemisphere Triple Slam !4
In November 2002 , England , under the inspirational leadership of Clive Woodward OBE , secured a remarkable triple crown of victories over the fearsome giants of the Southern Hemisphere - New Zealand , Australia and South Africa. It was a feat acheived with skill and courage in equal measure and this DVD documents those three historic games .
Watch as under strength but determined New Zealand come close to destroying Englands triple dream in just the first game , only for Ben Cohen to perform a heroic last gasp tackle on Ben Blair as it looked as if the All Blacks would pip the home side .England clung on against the odds to defeat the men In Black for the first time in nine long years , by 31-28.
Against Australia , it looked as if the game was up for the red rose as the slick Wallabies cruised into a 31-19 lead during the second half. But the cool head of Wilkinson and his superlative kicking put England within a score of victory , leaving the way for Ben Cohen to become hero of the day and give England a third consecutive win over Australia, although by the narrowest of margins , 32 - 31.
Last, but certainly not least demoralised South Africa arrived at Twickenham fresh from an embarrassing Murrayfield drubbing by the Scots. But their brutal and cynical game plan on the day played into English hands and England crushed the Springboks by a whopping 52-3.It was their biggest ever defeat and allowed England to seal the Southern Hemisphere triple crown and claim the Investec trophy.

This is an excellent DVD , purely on the basis of the subject matter, and all English rugby fans will lap it up. However , apart from the three interviews in the extras area there is precious little depth to to the actual DVD itself , as this is purely a collection of SKY highlights . But then again , what does a true English rugby fan want to do ? Watch England defeating New Zealand or flick through hours of pointless extras?
This DVD will keep memories alive for fans who watched the games originally and is a great addition to any rugby fans shelf.

Excellent DVD4
This is a fantastic DVD - it shows every point from England's incredible triple crown of victories over the southern Hemisphere sides.

England 31-28 New Zealand. This starts with the always spectacular sight of the Haka from the All Blacks and the even more heartwarming sound of 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' drowning it out. My only criticism of how the DVD is put together is with the early coverage of the match, when England were award 2 penalties back to back, and it felt very much like skimming over it to get to the excitement of the rest of the game which was truly pulsating.

England 32-31 Australia. This gets plenty of time on the DVD and rightly so, from start to finish it's incredible, and even when you know the final score, the atmosphere in the ground was portrayed so well that you just knew it would be crucial for Jonny Wilkinson to convert Ben Cohen's opening try on the wrong side of the pitch for him.

England 53-3 South Africa. The scoreline says it all, not just any old victory over the springboks, the thumping that England had been threatening to do for a few meetings. What the scoreline doesn't say is the dirty tactics employed by the springboks, who clearly had no intention of playing the game cleanly and trying to win it on merit, when Jannes Labuscagne was sent off after 20 minutes for trying to decapitate Jonny Wilkinson, the writing was on the wall. It's the South African tactics that I feel could have helped improve the extras on the DVD, after the game in 2002, Stuart Barnes and Dewi Morris did an excellent review on Sky Sports Rugby Club which would have been a great thing to have aswell as their tactics formed such a significant part of the match.

Overall, this DVD is amazing, an absolute must for all English rugby fans and serves as a great reminder of the hope we all had a year before the World Cup, something that will probably never be the same again now that we've already been the undisputed best side in the world. Well worth buying.

Great Dvd5
For any ENGLISH rugby fan this will be great viewing, but anybody from the southern hemisphere i would not reccomend it as highly to. But the graphics and the performance are fine, all coverage from sky sports and some decent interviews after the matches in the bonus section. A rugby fans dvd really.
