Avoid like the plague
As a huge rugby fan I was really looking forward to this. Imagine my disappointment at realising that this DVD is really just the full matches from RTE on 3 disks with an absolutely terrible extras DVD. Probable the worst sporting DVD I have ever set eyes on. A rip off.

The DVD advertises 'pre match build up'. A sports fan would assume this would be interviews from players, pundits, historical analysis of the teams etc. No, what you get is 30 - 60 seconds of stock footage of the streets of whatever city the game was played in. For example the ITALY 'build up' looks like a collection of stock footage on Rome. Unbelievable!!!

One would expect that the main disk would have highlights of every game and the subsequent disks would have full games. No. RTE dont ever make that effort. They ruin the whole package by showing you every try from every angle. Thats it. No other game footage bar the tries, and for most of the time just the try footage with no commentary. Terrible!!

Sounds good but it is so badly put together it is laughable.

No pre match, no in depth interviews, no behind the scenes, no highlights package, no point bar a money making exercise for the lazy makers.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

RTE should be ashamed for producing a product like this. It sullies what was a great sporting effort.

For the highlights, stick to youtube! You'll enjoy it more that this rip off.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Just awful. Was really looking forward to this. It's cheaply put together and a complete waste of money. RTE should be ashamed. DON'T BUY IT.

could do better
You get all the games as shown on RTE but nothing more, the so called extras are nothing more than was shown previously with the original televised games. I still enjoyed watching the games again but it's a shame RTE didn't put a better DVD together.
