Very good piece of kit
This item came the day after placing the order on standard delivery. I was a little bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews stating that pieces were missing and that it needed to be drilled to the wall. I am very happy to say that neither of these things were true for me.

The item I received had all the pieces required and tools to build it (small spanner and allen key). It took about 5 mins to assemble and needed absolutely no drilling to attach it to the door frame. There was a wedge, however it isn't needed for use and I preferred not to use it and just remove the Door Gym when I was finished with it.

The Door Gym can take 16 stone hanging from it so is fairly sturdy. The black foam rubber left no marks either on the front of the door frame or on the back of the wall where it sits.

There are two things that should be taken into consideration before purchase however, the unit is slightly lower than most door chin-up bars would fit meaning tall people could have to lift their legs to fully extend their arms (no great deal as lifting the legs helps the lower abs anyway) at 6 foot I could almost kneel on the floor from extension. The pull-up (overhand grip) is quite narrow as it's on the inside of the door frame (so roughly shoulder width apart) and I'd prefer a wider grip for that exercise but the neutral and underhand grips are fine.

One last point is that due to the nature of the item my technique had to be so much slower and more controlled (and therefore better) than on a rigid bar due to me not wanting to use momentum and end up with a triple back dismount into the floor. Not saying it would happen, just wouldn't risk it. So forcing a better workout is a bonus feature I guess. 4 1/2 stars.

Great Product
I orderd this product because my door frames are too small for a fixed chin/pullup bar. It really does exactly what it says on the tin, took 5 mins to put together and now i just hook it on and off my door frame of choise when i want to work out, simple.

This has got to gone down as one of my best amazon purchases.
The door gym was delivered inside 36 hrs of ordering and was well packaged. It was very easy to put together, it is well made,very strong and sturdy.
It is a bargain at the price.
