Perfect pair of trainers for the mild overpronator
I've been using the 21xx series of Asics for a few years now, and have generally been very happy with them.
The support provided for someone who mildly overpronates is perfect. Running gait is very comfortable with them, and as a shoe they seem to get lighter with each new version Asics brings out.

This shoe is no different. Nice, light, and airy but providing great support, they are my favourite Asics trainer yet. The one minor problem I have had with Asics was that if running 10+ miles, I sometimes got a blister on the inside of my right foot. Not a major problem, but could be annoying at times. However, that seems to have been eliminated on the 2140s, the shoe is a perfect fit, and I don't get any rubbing or other annoying foot movement.

In summary - a superb pair of trainers - and given the great deal it is possible to get on this shoe before a newer version comes out, I would jump at it.
