Easy shoe repairs5
Shoe boo is really easy to use, we used it to rebuild the heels on some shoes that had worn prematurely. It also resticks the little bits of rubber that come loose and dangle round the edges of trainers sometimes, and resticks loose trainer soles back securely.

Verdict, great value for money.

Using to build up worn soles4
I have a pair of Clarks shoes with thick synthetic soles that have worn out on the heels and no shoe repair shop can deal with, as it is not feasible to fit a new sole. Using Shoe Goo applied to the damaged soles to form a new surface was the only option I could find.

I roughened the soles a bit with some sandpaper, squeezed the goo onto them and smoothed it roughly into a sensible shape. The nice thing about it was that while I seemed to be making a complete mess and thought I would end up with lumpy disintegrating heels, once I stopped and left the shoes upside down to let the Goo set, I found it smoothed itself out beautifully.

I was pleased with the repair since it allowed me to continue to use my favourite and irreplaceable shoes which otherwise must have gone in the bin. However I should point out that after a couple of months of fairly regular use, including a little country walking, the goo has gradually peeled off. There's enough left in the tube to do them once more, but obviously to repeat the process this often it will work out quite expensive.

Great Stuff!5
I've used this to repair my beloved Ipath Cats skate shoes (most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and look fantastic), and are no longer available in the UK. You just smear it on and shape it whilst it's still gooey and it really does work, helping to build up the soles and heels. It's kept them going for a good few years now. It WON'T glue, so if the innards have actually split, you'd need a different product.

One note of caution though. It absolutely stinks of solvents, so make sure you use it in a ventilated area.

Recommended.
