Customer Reviews

really nice item does what it says on the tin!5
I previously had a prima slow cooker which I loved, but it was out of stock when I needed a replacement in time for the xmas cookathon.

This model is very easy to use gives great results and having 2 sections means i can do dinner + desert or a veggie and meat option. I like to cook properly just a couple of times a week and this allows me to do this with a couple of diff recipes. ( yep I know I'd win any bad mother award going lol!) I then shove the left overs in the fridge for another day.

It doesn't take up any more room than my old single pot one did and is easy to wash up (2 things that concerned me before purchase). I work full time and am a mum so don't have time to be faffing about. this is great as you can set the timer for 12 hours if need be and the food will not have shrivelled up and spoilt when you are ready to eat. The heat settings are easy to use, it's easy to clean. the only thing I will say is that the outside can get warn (not hot enought to burn though which is good!) and it is quite heavy so please set it well back on your worktop out of reach of the kids. It's capable of far more than just the usual soups and stews - cakes and roasts all come up a treat if you invest in a decent recipe book for ideas.

It looks great - although it's an old fashioned way to cook you don't want it to look like a 50's reject. It looks sleek and modern.

cheaper cuts of meat fall off the bone, just as they should with this method of cooking and it doesn't need topping up with water like some models (important if you are going to leave it on all day while you are at work!)

I borrowed a few models during the period I was without a slow cooker and this really is up there with the best in terms of performance. I'm very happy with it.

A different way to cook your meals/desserts.5
I wasn't really sure what I was letting myself into, (as my main meals consists of quick & easy microwave meals).
The first thing that impressed me was the immense size of both cooker & the dual crock pot. Secdondly, was the simplicity of use. A decent feature is the keep warm function, this basically keeps the pot warm for a few hours more (just in case you get home latter than planned). I also liked the tough see through glass lid, you can see all that goes on!
Just a few quick tips; add an extra hour to your cooking time, as the pot takes quite a while heat up properly. Also, the manual recommends that you should split one meal between both compartments, which is a bit of hassle. I've been able to cook in one compartment, while the other one is empty. This doesn't affect the cooking as the heat seems to be even all over.
Finally, food does taste better. It seals in all the nutrients & taste. Meat, such as beef becomes as tender as chicken. There are a few recipes (easy ones) within the cookers manual to get you going. A 5***** product.

Flexible Slow Cooker5
There is generally not much to say asbout slow cookers, but this one is a little different in that it has 2 different sized pots (one peice two sections).

You can put a small amount of food in the smaller sized pot, a larger amount in the larger pot, or for really large quantities fill both pots.

Best of all you can cook 2 different dishes simultaneously.

The standard features of timer and medium/slow heat settings work fine and the whole thing is easy to use and keep clean.

I often make up the dish at lunch time (though morning would be ok) and then come home to find the food ready to eat in the evening.

I love it!
