Comfy Mixer
I bought the brushed aluminium version of this three months ago and love it. It is neither too heavy or light and feels well balanced in use. I also like the fine stainless steel attachments and as a previous reviewer stated they really do seem to do egg whites etc a lot quicker (less than a minute for four egg whites to stiff peaks). The dough hooks really do work although they are just for mixing the dough ingredients not for the kneading. The digital display/controls are really easy to work and are all just in the right place for your fingers and it works equally as well left or right handed. The only thing I found difficult at first was ejecting the beaters/hooks but after being used a few times a week till now it's no longer a problem. The base is flat for easy storage and the dip at the back of the handle accommodates the winding of the cord well.

Approx measurements in cm are: 19L x 14.5H x 9D. It comes with an instruction/recipe booklet of Marco Pierre White's favourite recipes + a few other recipes as well.

Hand mixer
This is handsome to look at and feels easy in the hand. I chose it because I prefer the fine, wire like beaters rather than the thicker, flatter ones. This type of beater gives better results with cream and eggwhites and I found it equally good with mashing potatoes or creaming cake mixture. Very pleased with it and would buy again at the bargain price.

Nice looking
My girlfreind does like to cook - alot! She likes this mixer and found it very easy to use. Yes it does seem a little noisy and reminded me of my electric drill. However, it is solid and feels good to hold. The blue LED is clear and easy to view. The black finish is smooth and stylish. The componants fit in fairly easily and pop out after pressing the detatch button - much more effective than my electric drill bits! I bought this at the full £39.99 here on amazon and I am pleased with the purchase.
