Customer Reviews

Good but some reservations.3
This is a well written overview of the copywriting business. It is written by a UK author and so is relevant to UK markets. I think there is a lot of sound advice and it is certainly worth a place on the book shelf of people trying to set up a copywriting business. However, where I feel the book is not so good, hence the 3 stars, is where it goes into topics that are not so much the preserve of copywriting. The later chapters of the book such as writing for magazines and newspapers, tend to skim over topics with broad generalizations and not much detail. Although the author says that some topics are not his particular areas of expertise, this is a shame as it lets an otherwise solid book down somewhat.

A Good Book For Copywriters4
This book has been well written by an author from the United Kingdom. The book gives a fantastic overview of the copywriting business, which is directed at the copywriting market place of the United Kingdom. There is a lot of very useful advice contained within the book. However I have given this book a four star rating as it could have been a little bit more detailed in places as some areas are very vague.
