Even better than expected
I bought this product as a replacement for a Kenwood which had broken. Cooking is my hobby, my favourite way of relaxing. I had noticed that most TV chefs use this brand and thought 'hey! if its good enough for Delia.....Ha ha!!
I was definitely not disappointed. It does everything it says it will, the design is excellent.
Most people have a food processor that they have had in a cupboard and hardly use. I believe this is because it is so fiddly, after scrambling around finding the attachments, trying to remember what goes where and then putting it together, it's usually easier to do things the old fashined way. This one certainly has the edge. It is quiet, compact, the different functions are so easy to use with very little messing around. It's a joy to use and easy to clean.
It is a little more expensive than the usual domestic food processors but this is more than reflected in the quality and ease of use. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this item to any half way interested cook.

A solid peice of equipment
I recently received my Magimix and am thoroughly enjoying it as a very easy to use piece of equpment.

It is heavy, but leaving it out on the worktop overcomes that issue.

Two small complaints- to use the mini bowl, you have to leave the mini bowl in the larger one; often food spills out into the larger bowl meaning double the washing up.

Secondly I would have hoped at this price that the attachments would be fully dishwasher proof, but I notice the company cover themselves with comments like- only guaranteed with liquid dishwasher cleaners and only use on the top shelf of your dishwasher....

It does what it says on the box
This replaced a smaller and much older version and as soon as it was used I realised how old the previous one was. Large, yes but it packs away OK and the smaller sized bowls are just right for preparing ingredients. The large bowl means that can batch cook or make large yummy cakes. It's quick too, perhaps because the blades are sharp? The whipping device is fantastic, it turns meringue making into a joy. Overall, if you are a semi-serious or serious cook this machine is a must.
