Fine Finepix!
A great camera for those who want lots of control for creative photography without the expense bother or bulk of a SLR. Don't expect the same quality as a SLR costing 4 times the price, but do expect (especially if you shoot in RAW) very very good results up to A4 (even A3 at a push), over a range of light conditions. The 38-380mm lens is fast (f3.5 @ 380mm) and gives enormous versatility without carrying a bag full of expensive lenses. Battery life is excellent, around 500 shots on 2500mah AA Nmhi, the best choice in my opinion. Manual focus is slow, but useful for carefully set up macro or still life shots. Get to know this camera and you won't be disappointed. Great all rounder, great value.

What a brilliant camera!
I am really impressed with this camera, the image quality is really superb. I have used SLRs for years but like the extra features a digital camera affords, this does that in spades. I will not be going back to film and my Pentax. I have a 1 gig XD card which gives 412 images at the best quality and high capacity rechargable NiMah batteries which I think are a must. The automatic modes are very good but the camera allows you to take over when you want and will even bracket 3 shots with over and under exposure at the same time. well done Fuji, a really excellent package!

Unbelievable Fuji S5600 Camera
After extensive searching on the Net,I eventually decided to purchase the Fuji S5600.
The camera arrived Yesterday 24th April.It was ordered on the 20th April.Well done Amazon,excellent delivery.
I also ordered a 1gig memory card,case and mains adapter.All have arrived except the case which is due in approx 5 days.
On first inspection the camera was smaller than i had expected.It looked well made and extremely comfortable to hold.I installed the memory card and the supplied batteries.
Switching on you are presented with the option to enter date and time on the Lcd screen,(this can be switched off to enable the electronc viewfinder) if required.The viewfinder display is a little corse but quite acceptable.The menu system is a dream to use.once you have spent 15 mins exploring it,a child could use it.Leave the camera on Auto and it is a doddle to operate.
You can make your photography simple or Professional on how you use the Camera setup.
The quality of the pictures are second to none,and the video at 30fps
640/480 is as good as a lot of expensive camcorders.
This camera has got to be one of the best buys on the net at the present time.
Get one now or be disappointed?.
