Does not disapoint
I wanted an easy to use digital camera but one with a bit of 'oomph'. This camera does not disapoint. The quality of pictures are excellent. A close up of a bee showed clearly all the pollen stuck to the legs - awesome! I am now a complete bore and am always showing off my pictures. I am very lazy about reading instruction manuals and I managed to operate the camera very quickly, after a quick glance. One excellent feature is how the camera saves the pictures in a calendar. If you are looking for a reasonable priced camera, then this is definately it.

pocket sized gem with naff software
A month in Cuba - worked well in all conditions (inc. tropical rainshowers)and fitted unobtrusively in my pocket. The battery lasts 2/3 days of near constant use (inc. movie mode),charges pretty quickly and non-olympus spares are cheap. 1Gb XD cards can be got fairly cheaply and hold hundreds of high res. pics. Would certainly recommend the camera but don't bother with the cumbersome software. Buy it if you want a small yet very capable camera (camera 5 stars, software 2 stars).

just so simple
after finally replacing my old fujifilm ive had for years and getting this new olympus it wsa definetely worth it. The pictures are top quality with optional night mode, beach mode etc. Camera is easy to understand n the pics are top class. Although quite expensive, for a 7.1 mp camera its great value n looks absolutely stunning. A must have if your looking for a better camera. software is also very easy to use!"
