Fantastic!!!
Looking for anointed praise and worship music...?
Look no further. this has to be one of the best gospel albums available, every single track is beautifully arranged and performed, making it virtually impossible to come across any skipable tracks.
The most appropriate comparison I can think of is Fred Hammond. Like the gospel great, Houghton doesn't only sing and perform like so many secular sounding artists of today's gospel scene, he MINISTERS to all with the use of God's Word.
New Breed are equally impressive, the varied range of voices featured on this project help add to the diversity of the album.
Familiar with God is Good? (A song, no doubt circulating churches as I write this review)If not, you soon will be. This is the guy who wrote that song. You may have also heard him on the two Lakewood albums, Speak to the Nations and Cover the Earth, where he is equally impressive.
As I mentioned before, it's hard to pick out favourites, but God is Good, Trading My Sorrows and New Season are corkers!
This guy sings from the heart, if you want my advice, buy your copy NOW!
