Customer Reviews
Small but perfectly formed!
I have resisted the PDA "revolution" because all I have ever needed was an electronic version of my diary and one that linked up with my PC address book. If it could shout at me before a meeting, stop me from missing birthdays, then all the better. However, I was not keen on spending a great deal of money to achieve this! Then along came the Palm Z22, a cut-down version of its siblings, offering full synchronization with Outlook. It shouts at me in good time for any event in my life, has a couple of games to while away boring journeys and has lots of extras to help organise my life. It also looks quite cool with its "ipod"-like white finish and is easy and intuitive to use. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent PDA but is not interested in expansion, GPS or bluetooth capabilities.
Good value for money
Firstly, I've had PDA's for years. Psion, Palm, Treo, and various Windows ones. My current PDA (before this) was an all singing and dancing Windows Mobile one with Bluetooth and WiFi. Trouble is, with WiFi on the battery would go flat and you couldn't get a day out of it. Then the other week, I returned from a 2 week holiday and the PDA was flat again. Another full restore from backup.
So I decided to get a simple organiser. No frills, no wifi and most importantly: a non-volatile memory so if it runs flat I don't loose anything.
To sum it up, it is great for the money. If you want to sync your calender items/emails/tasks with your pc at home or at work then you can't go wrong. If you want a pocket PC to do everything on then don't get one!
I like it and I'm sticking with it as it does it's job just fine.
Fab first PDA
I am not much of a PDA geek, but i wanted a simple product to sync with my outlook calendar - so I don't miss any more meetings! I have had this for a couple of weeks now and its saved me a few times already!! The sudoku games which comes with it is also really addictive, and can pass way many ours on the train. Overall a great little devise which i now couldnt live without...buy one!
