No backlight and you hardly see the things on the screen.
Although it is called 'travel chess computer', it is very difficult to see the chess pieces clearly, even in day-light. It is very difficult to think while you strugle to see the pieces in normal light in your room. Imagine you use it when you travel or do camping or at nights! I regret buying it only for this reason. The manufacturer needs to improve it.
