a great little camera
I got this camera to replace my Casio camera that sadly got smashed on a night out. This camera appealled to me as the lense didn't come out (which is how my last one got broken), and also because it is tiny, sleek and has a big screen to view the pictures.

So far, I am really happy with this camera. It has lots of really good functions on it (many colour modes including black and white and a fun category that you can take four pictures in one). It is small and compact and fits in your handbag or pocket perfectly and always gets attention from others as it looks really smart. I haven't tried out the MP3 player
just yet, but that is also an attractive function of the camera as you only have to take one electronic item with you on days out or to the beach for example.

The only niggle I have is that it can take a while to take the picture - esp if the red eye reduction is on, and also the flash can take a few seconds to 'reload' after a picture has been taken. These are just things that I shall have to get used to as not all cameras are the same and some adjustments are needed!

Overall, I recommend this camera...my housemate has even ordered the blue one on my recommendation hence 5 stars!

Suberb Compact Design
I bought my daughter this camera for Xmas. It's great value for money and it's perfect compact design fits into the smallest of Handbags. The fact that it also has an integrated MP3 & PMP frees up even more space in her bag. Excellent value for money & thanks again Amazon for the speedy delivery, as promised

Great Little Camera
I bought this camera after my digimax I6 was stolen at alton towers. I loved my I6 but it was going to be more expensive to replace it with an I6 than to update to the I8, so I went for the I8. Knowing how much I loved my I6 it was a big shoes that the I8 had to fit, and it just about fits them. Personally I preferred my I6 but I am getting used to the I8. It may be because I was so used to the I6 that I find the controls on the I8 a bit different. Things like the delete button is in a different place etc. But you can get used to that. I8 is smaller and lighter than my old i6, it takes great pics and vid clips and I am very happy with it. The only reason it doesnt get a 5 star is because at this moment in time I still miss my lovely I6....sob. PS the lowepro case here on amazon fits the I8 perfectly and very snugly with just space for a couple of extra SD cards.
