BEST....TELEVISION....EVER!
For just under £1000 this TV is a very good buy. The picture quality is as good as it gets for under £1500/£2000, totally stunning! The motion is very smooth and the colour definition is second to none (You should compare the black levels with any other TV on the high street). The default settings are a little on the bright side (I recommend turning the backlight down to around 5) but after a little tweaking the pictures look very natural. You'll be blown away with the lifelike digital pictures via your existing ariel, let alone an up scaled DVD or Bluray recording (amazing home cinema quality). The set up is very straightforward and I have enjoyed the sound, which is clear and defined. This model does not contain the wireless facility of the more expensive model but you can buy a Samsung wireless dongle which will do the job if you wish. It is so slim and is packed with useful and enjoyable features but at the same time is easy to use. There is no lack of HDMI connections on the back of the machine and it runs using only a fraction of the energy of a standard LCD TV but gives you picture quality in excess of most plasma screens! My Panasonic DVD recorder's remote was able to link with it automatically, which is a bonus. I highly recommend it!
