Stunning
Bought a pair of these monitors for home use and I was instantly impressed with the clarity, brightness and how crisp the screen is. I use a pair of Apple Cinema displays in the office and these monitors are a good match. Colour accuracy is high on my list and these beauties are spot on.

Excellent value for money deal
Like many others, I spent quite some time researching LCD monitors before buying this. Previously had an old 15" Elonex LCD. Having seen Samsung LCD TVs in shops, I liked their picture best of the reasonably priced ones and so felt fairly confident about getting this.

I have connected using VGA (waiting for my new PC to arrive before I have DVI output). Even with my dated Radeon 9250 AGP graphics card there is no problem getting 1920x1080 or pretty much any other resolution (including my previous default of 1024x768 - picture in middle of screen with black bars down sides). Picture is great, though I don't know how it compares with DVI yet.

Don't be put off by comments about the stand. I followed the printed instructions and used a bit of lube as advised by other reviewers and it went on so easily I hadn't realised it! 10 seconds.

The picture is rather bright at default setting of 100%, but not too bad if you have some background/ambient lighting. The brightness is actually quite impressive. I have however toned it down to 70% - no doubt I shall adjust from time to time.

Remember there are all sorts of adjustments, both manual and automatic, that can be made, so I'm sure with a little effort a stunning and satisfying picture will be achieved.

I suppose I should mention viewing angles in case anyone hasn't realised the situation. These cheaper TN technology LCD screens don't have great viewing angles. You really need to be looking straight on to the screen to get the full benefit. Looking even from one edge of the screen towards the other side you will notice the typical colour/tone changes. It's the price you don't pay...

I hope to remember to come and add to the review once I've used the monitor more and for a wider variety of activities. So far so good. For the price I think you should buy one.

Absolutely Brilliant
What can i say besides the title ...It does what it says on the tin with brilliant picture to boot....A bit hard to slot together but after pushing with the force of Superman himself it looks and works excellently..
