Samsung Blu-Ray Bliss
I have Just purchased the Samsung BD-P1500 and i am over the moon!!
Its stylish looks are only equalled by it's superb performance. It's easy to setup, easy menus and has a great free disc offering to get you started with your Blu-Ray disc collection.
As with my fantastic Samsung TV, I highly recommend this product, 5*!!!

So nearly 5 stars!
Fantastic service from amazon, arriving in less than 20 hours! I was actually very pleasantly surprised with the performance of this unit, quite fast load times and a really vibrant and detailed image. Why only 4 stars? The unit would default to 1080p which my bedroom based TV would not display, even after a firmware update it would always reset to 1080p every time it switched on! I eventually found a solution. By changing the time on the clock after adjusting the picture settings, you are actually given a "Save" option, which has done the trick!

Great Player, impressive Blu_ray performance and DVD
This is my first Blu-ray player and the picture blew me away! It is so pin sharp and clear for Blu-ray, the DVD upscaling is definately better than standard DVD player. The 2.0 firmware upgrade is available to download straight to your player so you can get the benefit of Blu-ray live that is available for PS3. The sound was also very good, I connected the optical to my digital surround and both DTS and Dolby are well defined. I can't believe how the higher definition brings to film out more that I could have imagined.

I purchased the Golden Compass which was impressive to watch, the I am Legend had some great sequences in that look superb on Blu-ray as so detailed.

Overall I am really happy with the player, feels nicely built and looks good.

Definitely a player to consider, great value with 2 free films too.
