Fancy book for fancy sandwiches
This book is very well presented, with lovely pictures and various recipes (open sandwiches, closed sandwiches, bread recipes, sauces recipes, bar snacks recipes and biscuit recipes). The problem however is that most recipes require you to make a special dressing made of a long list of herbs and ingredients not necessarily available in your standard supermarket and making the dressing itself requires quite a lot of time. I have tried two recipes and it took me close to three hours to prepare the sandwiches. Which were delicious I concede but you don't want to go through that much hassle just to make sandwiches. So all in all: a nice book which turns out to be disappointing.
