A Stocking Filling Cracker!5
This is one of those books your mate buys for you, and you buy for another mate... There's some really useful recipes in here, but it also makes itself extremely useful as a book to keep by the loo! Both amusing, and strangley inspiring... in fact, stilton and mushroom here I come! (Can I put ham in there DJ??)
Go buy it for a friend or a student son/daughter!
Much better than the other toastie books about the place.

A must have for any toastie lover!5
Tried and Toasted is quality, I was laughing my head off the whole way through! Who would have thought a book on a snack such as the toastie could be such a good read.

The "important" sections on Health and Safety and Toastie Etiquette ("Novice toastie consumers frequently embarrass themselves with shocking breaches of etiquette") are very good. Along with the history and Top Toastie Tips sections.

There are also some really good toastie ideas along with an amusing "Time Wasting Toasties" section. Amazingly there is a cat food toastie, in which Richard has a friend who is "drunk enough and also, importantly, hungry enough" to try it! Hopefully I'll never find myself in that state!

All in all a great book and one that I'll be giving some of my friends for Christmas!
