• Pls make sure your ceiling is strong enough to support the weight of your projector. Most UK houses have hollow ceiling with wood joist structure, pls use a stud finder to locate the wood frame. If this sounds too complicated to you, buy the PM103 projector wall mount instead

Avoid at all costs!!!
Absolute rubbish, please dont waste your money on this item! The item states that it is universal in the title but I encountered numerous problems trying to mount my projector (a very common Optoma) to the arm. Once mounted the arm would not stay in a fixed position so impossible to line up to the screen. I've never once had a problem with any product which i've purchased from Amazon but I completely regret this purchase, very very disappointing!!

Ignore the first review! This mount is solid and easy to fit. If you're looking for a ceiling mount without spending crazy money look no further...

I have an Epson EB-6X and I fitted it to the mount easily. Yes, if you have a hollow ceiling you will need to buy separate fixings but these will cost a few pounds max.

Remember to tighten the adjustment nut...or you will have the same problems as the first reviewer!

A good buy, but beware!! It doesn't state (here) that it is not suitable for a hollow ceiling and the screw fittings are inadequate for the weight of the projector! Buy this item then buy m6*80 butterfly fittings and drill 14mm holes. Then, as long as the projector will not get any chance of being harshly knocked, then it will be fine. Great for adjusting to suit but support it when choosing height. Keep the pack of fittings with the ceiling bracket as some projectors have different fittings and you might have to dig out some washers to fit the stand.
