Needle Felting
As a total novice, have found this an excellent book. Shows you step by step whith clear pictures. Discovered needle felting on the net, and as I live in Spain there are no classes. So when I saw this book, just had to give it a go. I ordered wool and needles off the net. Important to buy heavier weight needles as well as fine (for detail). I only had fine to begin with and they break!! It also helps to know how the creature should look in life. My rabbit was first a mouse, then a guinea pig - all because of the ear placement!! But now I can make all three!!
Little felted animals
Good instructions and photographs but animals dissapointing they look very amateur and child like.
Beautiful!
I have not yet made any of the animals but have spent many hours looking at the beautiful pages of this inspiring book. I have sent off for my fleece, neeedles and glass eyes and when they arrive I will be trying the techniques. I doubt my animals will be as such high standard as the ones photographed but I can't wait to try.
