    CSI Board Game .... BORED is the word2
    Don't get me wrong - I'm a HUGE fan of CSI and its spin-off shows! Brilliant I thought, a CSI board game. Unfortunately, I couldn't be more wrong.

    It must have taken 2 of us a good hour to work out how to play the game - once we actually started playing the game, we quickly realised just how complicated this game really is.

    Basically, the game comes with 8 'cases' that you have to try to be the 1st to solve - once you have played these 8 cases, the game cannot be played again.

    What a waste of money! This game tries to be a CSI-themed Cluedo-style game and fails! AVOID IT!!!!

    Having an interest and better than average knowledge of the murky world of forensics and crime scene investigation, I was looking forward to an entertaining evening playing this game with friends. The word anti-climax springs to mind.
    The game play takes a while to get the hang of, situations arise and you aren't sure how to proceed as it isn't covered in the rulebook and then you arrive at your conclusion and state your case only to find that the clues that you determine as giving you the means, motive and opportunity turn out to be different to the official ones.     In essence, it's Cluedo meets the 21st century (but Cluedo is a helluva lot easier to understand!).
    This is only for the hard core CSI fans and even they will be wondering what they were doing buying this!

    I have to disagree with the previous reviews. The game was far from complicated. It was very easy to get the hang of and fairly straight forward to play. There were just two of us playing and we really enjoyed the games. The challenge is to get your means, motive and opportunity right but the actual murderers were fairly easy to discover. Of course after playing all eight games you can't replay the game but it's the same for the xbox/pc game too. That only has 10 games and once completed cannot be played again - that is the nature of murder games. I would recommend this game, especially if you are prone to sticking tightly to a games rules and are a fan of the show.
