Manufacturer's Description
Eight crime stories written in the fascinating, compelling style of the hit television series, CSI: Miami. Behind the sun, surf, and palm trees lurks a darker world. You will quickly learn that each suspect is capable of deceit. By rolling the CSI: Miami die you will follow the evidence, identify the killer and reveal the truth. Follow lead criminalst, Horatio Caine, and his team of CSIs to collect three levels of evidence in order to solve each crime. The object of the game is to be the first to submit a correct arrest warrant, proving means, motive and opportunity for one of the three suspects.

Not as fun as Cluedo
To say that this isn't a particularly exciting game is a bit of an understatement - it certainly doesn't bring the television programme to life.
Game play can be frustrating, as players can easily get stuck waiting for the right dice roll before they can move on through the levels of the game - and there is nothing to entertain in the time before a lucky throw, apart from watching others progress without giving any clues away.
Aside from the occasional challenge question there is very little interaction between players, as players move from clue to clue individually - the race is in reading all the clues and solving the crime before anyone else does. This also slows the game down, as it is a question of getting the right dice roll and reading a clue, while other players sit around and wait for you to read and understand. The game is not very well explained and the instruction manual shows the signs of being a bad translation.
There are only eight crimes to solve so unless you have a very short memory there is very little lifespan in the game. All in all, there is little about this game that is engaging or fun. There might have been potential to bring the science of the show to life but unfortunately in this format it falls flat. Perhaps if played in teams, as the instructions suggest, it is more entertaining but as individual players we struggled to maintain enough interest to finish the first game.
