Customer Reviews
short but sweet
Picked up this game at lunch time as a point and click fan with possibly too much expectation, by late evening I was amazed to find I had allready completed it. An anoying repetitive speach each time you aquire the main plot elements and no soid npc's. I would not recomend spending more than a five on this game but it's still worth a QUICK play through and if you don't own them allready I definately recomend buying 1. day of the tentacle 2. sam and max, hit the road 3. tunguska 4. broken sword 1+2 5. the moment of silence
Does NOT work with Vista
I have tried everything including emailing the companies support desk but no reply. It is impossible to install this game on Vista Home Premium, all that happens is it hangs upon running the .exe - DO NOT BUY for Vista!!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrilliant!!!!
I bought Barrow Hill after playing the brilliantly creepy 'Dark Fall: the Journal'. I thought it would be difficult for another game to be quite so eery, atmospheric and enjoyable to play as Dark Fall, and wasn't expecting much from Barrow Hill, however I absolutely loved it. I am absolutely shocked by some of the negative reviews on here as it was the most enjoyable game I had played in a long time and to be honest I could not leave the game alone until I had completed it (roughly 20 hours). Maybe the graphics aren't the most amazing you'll ever see, and the acting is truly dreadful at times, but if you are after a game that will hook you in straight away and you like a little scare then this is the game for you. I loved it and have recommended it to all my family and friends!
