Welcome to the exciting world of Scalextric Digital. This set allows you to race up to four cars at the same time (two cars are provided), performing amazing, realistic overtaking and braking manoeuvres. You can switch lanes at the touch of a button to overtake or block your opponent. This set includes everything you need to get started with Scalextric Digital--it features an oval circuit and comes supplied with two Digital Chip installed cars. Additional digital cars are available or you can easily convert most standard cars to run on digital layouts. The two detailed Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4/22 cars are fitted with the super-fast, slim-line FF motor. Build quality and attention to detail is of a high standard. The quality of the printed decoration is excellent. The front nose and wing assembly is designed to detach in the event of an accident for refitting without affecting other components. The cars feature easy change pick-ups and the Magnatraction™ system to help them stay on the circuit. Four cars can be raced simultaneously using the powerbase provided in the set or upgrade to the Advanced Six Car Digital Powerbase (C7042) for six car races plus a host of additional features. Digital layouts are fully compatible with standard Scalextric track pieces. Manufactured under license from McLaren Racing Limited.     a great buy :a must have4
    this game offers long hoyrs racing away with friends and family. Not for the first scalextric owner but the more experienced racer will thouroughly enjoy. high speed over taking is the main key attribute and that is the raeson i brought it and it doesn't diasppoint. my only critism is the durability of the cars. from the slightest skid or crash they show major signs of damage. on the whole, a great buy.

    Bought this for my 8 year old son and he loves it. Cars stay on the track well but when they do come off we have noticed some cosmetic damamge.
