After years of teaching, Bill Rogers began research into discipline, classroom management and teacher stress. He now works as a consultant, specialising in these areas, and is the author of a number of publications including Managing Teacher Stress and Behaviour Recovery, also published by Pearson Education.

Helpful and Entertaining
Lots of practical advice that actually works (I know, I used it in a school in the middle of Birmingham!) with terribly familiar examples described in an amusing way. I haven't got into a row with a student in the last two terms having read this.

The Best Classroom Management book I have ever read
This book is truely excellent. Bill Rogers has a very easy to read and down to earth style of managing to suggest techniques for teachers in the classroom and in the school environment. It immediately becomes obvious that Bill is a teacher and is realistic about all the challenges that you can face. His suggestions are easy to implement and very effective. They may seem slightly strange when you first try them but you will soon be using them in all your classes. If you buy one book about teaching. Buy this, Thanks!

Great behaviour book!
This boook is worth every penny, it has real life issues which it analyses and provides great advice. If you buy and read only one book on behaviour, you wouldn't go wrong with this one!
