Customer Reviews
An excellent guide for the new student teacher mentor.
Having recently become a student mentor in my school, for students entering the profession through School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT, I have found this guide invaluable. It has given me relevant advice about observation of lessons, how to give good feedback to my mentee, how to go about planning lessons with my mentee, and other important information and advice needed throughout the placement year. Sarah Fletcher has written a practical (British) guide that helps the mentor understand the jargon used within teacher training. I thoroughly recommend this book for any new student teacher mentor.
