	American Beauty [DVD] [2000] Buy new: £4.38 / Used from: £2.78 Dark comedy at its best, Kevin Spacey gives a knock out performance as forty-something Lester Burnam who is going through a mid-life crisis.
	Stand By Me [DVD] [1987] Buy new: £3.97 / Used from: £1.79 A coming-of-age film that will appeal to a wide audience. River Phoenix steals the show as the bad boy with a heart.
	Taxi Driver [DVD] [1976] Buy new: £4.68 / Used from: £1.95 Robert De Niro gives without doubt one of the best cinematic performances ever as psychotic Travis Bickle.
	Kids [DVD] [1996] Buy used from: £14.48 Hard hitting & original, its no surprise Kids was hailed as one of the most controversial films ever released globally.
	Y Tu Mama Tambien [DVD] [2001] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.94 Sexy, provocative & daring, but the narration & 3-dimensional characters makes Y Tu Mama Tambien thought provoking viewing
	Requiem For A Dream [DVD] [2001] Buy new: £4.18 / Used from: £3.49 The best druggie movie since Trainspotting, Not gritty, but the viewing is in a number of scenes painful, it has to be seen to be believed
	The Breakfast Club [DVD] [1985] Buy new: £4.28 / Used from: £2.50 It is said that The Breakfast Club is "the definitive 80's teen movie" but I say it is the difinitive teen movie of all time.
	L.I.E. [2002] [DVD] Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £6.74 Although typecast as a homosexual film I don't believe this to be the case. Brian Cox gives the bes performance of his career as the normal guy popular around town who happens to be a peadophile.
	Gone Baby Gone [DVD] [2007] A very un-Hollywood film, Ben Affleck proves that he can have movie success, when he's behind the camera. The whole cast are amazing in this whodunnit thriller about kidnapping.
	Donnie Darko [2002] [DVD] Buy used from: £0.45 The movie equivalent of The Catcher In the Rye. Perceptive, intelligent & totally mind-blowing.
	Pulp Fiction [DVD] [1994] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £3.25 The coolest film ever made, I hate both John Travolta & Bruce Willis, but it cannot be denied that they are both two very cool cats, all most as much as the director Quentin Tarantino.
	The Lost Boys (2 Disc Special Edition) [1987] [DVD] Buy new: £2.97 / Used from: £1.49 A very fun teen movie with a great soundtrack & the first (& only decent pairing) of "the two Corey's".
	Trainspotting: The Definitive Edition [DTS] [DVD] [1996] Buy used from: £4.15 In my opinion the best Brit-Film, gritty, raw & powerful Ewan McGreggor acts in (my opinion) as heroin addict Mark Renton living in Glassgow in the Rave scene of the early 90's.
	Fight Club [1999] [DVD] Buy new: £4.58 / Used from: £1.68 A bizarre film that sees Edward Norton's character befriend Brad Pitt's Tyler Durden, together they wreack havoc & found "Fight Club".
