Great, If you like vampires.
This book was brilliant, if you don't like vampires you will after reading this. At first I thought it wouldn't be very scary, but the vampire is really creepy. The main character is very much like an average teenager so it is best for an age group of 12-14. The plots are easy to keep up with and are very exciting. Caroline B. Cooney is one of my favourite authors so I jumped at the chance to read it. She makes her books thrilling and exciting, so they keep you interested. I've read the sequels they're as good as this one, but very similar, because they are set in the same town, same school and same house, with the same vampire taking over the lives of who ever dares set him free. The outline of The Cheerleader is that a new family moves into a very creeping house, the teenage girl has no friends and is very unpopular so one night she accidentally lets the vampire loose, he knows how sad she is so he grants the teenager her wish to be popular ... The book really makes you hate the vampire and feel sorry for the unlucky teenager. I really enjoyed this book and its sequels, It's made like vampire books and really changed my original view. A very exciting and scary book. Kept me up all night!
This book is about a girl who isnt very popular. one night she is visited by a vampire who offers her the chance to be the most popular girl in school. She accepts and thinks things are going great for her when things suddenly go down hill. She realises that things arent as good as they seem and the vampire wants people in return for her popularity. Which turn out to be her new friends. This is a really good book and i enjoyed reading it. Another great book by point horror
