A new romantic and funny novel from the Sunday Times No. 1 bestselling author
Lottie Carlyle isn't looking for love when she meets her new boss, Tyler Klein. Living in a beautiful cottage with her two adorable - sometimes - kids in an idyllic village in the heart of the Cotswolds, on good terms with her charming but hopeless ex-husband and with friends all around, she's happy enough with her lot. But Tyler's perfect for Lottie and quickly she falls for him - and he for her. Unfortunately, there's a problem. For reasons that are totally unfair, Lottie's children HATE Tyler. When a rival for Lottie's affections comes on the scene in the shape of charmer Seb, the children adore him, and he's certainly a distraction. But he's not Tyler - and he's not even at all what he seems. Lottie's got a problem - but thanks, in classic Jill Mansell style, to a tobogganing accident and a delicious series of mix-ups, all will be revealed and true love will find a way.

'Classy chick-lit that appeals to women of all ages. She [Jill Mansell] has a fantastic ability to keep a number of storylines running at the same time without losing the reader in a labyrinth'
(Daily Express )'Expect to run the gamut of emotions, as this book is both laugh-out-loud funny and tear-jerkingly sad. Basically, you won't put it down'

Customer Reviews
Enjoyable
I have read all of Jill Mansell's books and this one doesn't disappoint. Some parts you laugh out loud and others have you wipe a tear away. It is definetly an "easy, feel good" book.
Too much going on.
This is not a bad book, in fact when I'd finally managed to get to grips with who was who I enjoyed it quite a lot, my only gripe is that Jill Mansell seems to be trying to put too much into her stories lately and I never felt enough empathy with any of the numerous characters to care too much really.
Her last book was a dismal effort - in my humble opinion - and while this is drastically better I still have a problem with the complexity that isn't needed. I much prefer her simpler, earlier work in that respect.
Lottie is a likable character that I never felt I had a chance to get to know too well, and why did she and Cress only seem to share a chapter or so? Considering they're supposed to be best friends they didn't spend much time together.
Tyler seems nice enough, but then so do Mario and Seb. Too many men to choose from? Maybe.
And finally, the ending had me feeling a little cheated and I'd experienced such better feelings of romance earlier on in the book that I felt the last scene was lacking in any.
Overall a feel-good Jill Mansell romance with plenty of village life thrown in, enjoyable for an afternoon's reading but don't get your hopes up too high on this one.
Wonderful Novel
If you want romance mixed with some laughter entertwined, then this is the book for you. I really enjoyed this one. Another great recommendation is Fire In The Ice by Katlyn Stewart. I absolutely adore romances with some soul in them.
