Better than the game?
Piggyback's guide to Resident Evil 4 was a book that enhanced the gaming experience. This guide is written with the same dedication and expertise and is full of unique artwork and as much information as any Resident Evil 5 fan could need. It covers the PS3 and Xbox360.

The book begins with a foreword by the games producers then covers fundamentals like choosing the right equipment, health gauge management and the co-op system. The walkthrough is full of maps showing the locations of key items. The best tactics to use in problem situations are explained. All hidden treasures and secret items are shown. All weapons and their statistics are profiled but the best part of the book is the bestiary - the artwork is first class. All the game's unlockables such as special costumes and collectable figures are shown. The Mercenaries game receives comprehensive coverage with all characters profiled and all arenas mapped. The book ends with a behind the scenes feature and a concept artwork gallery.

The very best strategy guides are those you can pick up and enjoy without even playing the game. This guide is no exception. For any gamer wanting to get the most from Resi 5 this guide is probably essential.

I got this guide for £10 from Amazon and it was worth every penny. From the secret locations for every gem ,weapon and BSAA symbol to the complete walkthrough of the actual game this guide has everything and is a must buy for any gamer who wants to 100% Resident Evil 5. The guide even has a seperate section that gives tips and tricks on how to survive professional mode and complete it as quick as possible. It also gives indepth information on every character and level in Mercerneries mode aswell as a Bestiary that covers the weaknesses for every monster and boss. It even covers how to get all the unlockable costumes and weapons.

The collectors edition of the guide is a product for any fan of resident evil. It features some nice artwork at the back of the guide and is also the hardback version of the guide so its not going to get ruined through you constantly using it.
