Customer Reviews

God I love this CD...5
What's not to like? This film and its soundtrack albums have given me a bad 80s music habit. I thought there was nothing worth rehashing from that wretched decade but John Cusack proved me wrong... please! Buy this CD! Revel in the glory of Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Dazz Band! Gotta go search out a Specials album now... and I'd also recommend the High Fidelity soundtrack.

One of the best movies I have ever seen!!!5
This movie, is basicly just about Martin Blank(John Cusack) who has found a lucritive career as a hitman. He then returns to his home town of Grosse Pointe,Michigan to attend his High School 10 year reunion. The choice of Songs for this sound track is classic, mixing '80's punk rock with ska which works well with the theme of this movie. this deserves more than 5 stars!!!

super soundtrack to match the brilliance of the film5
"Grosse Pointe Blank" is one of my favourite films of all time and the soundtrack is just as good. The film is set in the 80s therefore the soundtrack is packed with 80s songs. To be honest I had never heard of a lot of the songs that feature on this album before buying it, when I think of 80s music I think of electronic pop music such as Dead or Alive and Human League but this album offers something completely diffent. Featuring here are artists such as The Clash, Faith no more and The Violet Femmes which supply dark, alternative music which perfectly match the mood of the film.

If you are a fan of the film then the soundtrack is a must-buy.
